Cooking Classes in Arles

At the Gateway to Arles, the Alpilles Mountains

Not far from Arles, in the heart of the Baux Valley, the luxury hotel La Cabro d’Or offers its guests an ideal setting for rest and relaxation. Much more than just a hotel, La Cabro d’Or is also a gastronomic restaurant, directed by Chef Michel Hulin. He and his team celebrate the flavors of southern France and the Mediterranean with an array of delicate, refined dishes that showcase such regional products as sea scallops, truffles and, of course, olive oil.

Cooking Classes for Gourmets

In the spring and fall, Les Maisons de Baumanière open their kitchens on to gourmet food lovers interested and eager to learn. During the Sunday morning classes, while demonstrating one of their recipes, our chefs share some of their culinary secrets. The choice of products, handy tips, cooking techniques, seasoning, reduction of sauces, presentation… every step of the day’s recipe is described in detail and reproduced by the cooking students. The class ends with a congenial lunch during which everyone tastes the dishes prepared in class.
